I am a 41 year old mom of four and am in the best shape of my life.  One of the things I like about Gator Crossfit is the challenge. Crossfit pushes you to challenge yourself to become y a stronger and healthier person. What lies within us is truly amazing; we just have to tap into it. Gator Crossfit makes the challenge available, so you not only gain strength but a better awareness of your body.  Everything we build, we want it to have a good foundation so it can withstand anything… that’s exactly what this training does for us, our minds, bodies and spirit.

  • Programmer for our CrossFit group classes

Fitness and sports have always been a big part of my life. I played varsity basketball in high school. I was introduced to CrossFit in 2008 and my first workout was Annie and to be honest it kicked my butt! I didn’t get into CrossFit again until 2011 when I was overseas on my second active duty deployment. Since then CrossFit has been a constant in my life.

I started out assisting the coaches in our Kuwait CrossFit Box (a mad hot tent). What got me motivated and hooked on CrossFit was the comradery and community that came with it. Soldiers would come to work out in this 100 plus degree tent every day. We challenged and motivated one another to give it 110% each time.

I have a beautiful wife that lets me spend crazy amounts of time in the gym and we have an adorable new baby girl named Naomi born just 3 days after my birthday.  We also have 2 fun loving pit bulls Tera and Tonka.

Mike has always been active in athletics. Growing up it was rock climbing, and wrestling. In high school it was cross-country, track, and swimming. After graduating high school in 2009 there was something missing. Mike found CrossFit in 2010 and it has been an obsession ever since. After years of being a member at Gator Crossfit an opportunity presented itself and Mike decided it was time to become a coach.
