James Mills – CrossFit Trainer level 1, B.A. Performing Arts
James recently retired from a 12 year career as a professional ballet
dancer. He began CrossFit after his 2nd ankle surgery brought him under the
care of CrossFit/mobility expert, Kelly Starrett,
D.P.T.<http://mobilitywod.blogspot.com
Three years later, James relates that CrossFit not only helped him return to
dancing after major ligament repair but gave him a baseline of fitness he
had never enjoyed in his years as a professional athlete. “Constantly
varied, functional movement” was never a part of the day-in-day-out of
ballet or the gym, yet he now realizes the profound effects of CrossFit’s
simple and revolutionary fitness program. It’s also fun, which plays a huge part in maintaining a commitment to get and stay fit. As a coach James brings his expertise in body awareness, technique, and flexibility to the CrossFit program. He is always excited to explore the limits of flexibility and form to increase strength and technique.

Chase Palmer, Black Lab/Pit, Official Greeter of Gator CrossFit
Chase has been training clients since he was a young pup. He is one of the first to greet you as you walk in. Don’t be afraid of him… he approaches you only to say “hello”. If you get to know him well (he loves his belly smacked) you will get a smile from him when you walk in the door. He is very motivating; one of the only trainers that will run with the group during a WOD!
