Adam Muir, CrossFit Level 1 Certified Instructor
A native to Gainesville I attended buchholz high school where I then continued on to Santa Fe then uf where I received a B.A degree in history. I have been an active person all my life, playing as well as coaching hockey for the past 10 years has allowed me to develop myself into a dedicated and hard working athlete. Prior to Crossfit I was your average Joe at she gym lift and running to keep in shape. However after a 10 min workout with Aaron I became hooked on c.f. My passion for c.f. Continues to grow everyday as I learn more and more. As a coach I take pride in my athletes, whether it be breaking a PR or mastering a new skill, I enjoy watching them succeed. Currently I am attending the Santa Fe paramedic program and will continue my education by attending the Florida state fire academy in Ocala. In the future I hope to be both a fire fighter and a Crossfit gym owner where I can continue to teach clients the joy of a healthyand strong life that Crossfit offers.

Leslie Twist, CrossFit Level 1 Instructor, Cardiopulmonary, AS degree
- I love the outdoors!!! Camping is a fav.
Simplicity is the best… it reminds us just to love life, love livingJ spending time with my family.
- I am 40yrs in September and am in the best shape of my life and I have always been active. Fitness is a passion for me.
- One of the things I like about Gator Crossfit is the challenge. Crossfit challenges you to challenge yourself and the result is only a better stronger, healthier you. Crossfit teaches us to use the functional movements which use in our everyday lives. Gator Crossfit teaches us the concept of core to extremity. What lies within us is truly amazing; we just have to tap into it. Gator Crossfit makes the challenge available, so you not only gain strength but a better awareness of your body. Everything we build, we want it to have a good foundation so it can withstand anything… that’s exactly what this training does for us, our minds, bodies and spirit. Sports enjoyed- racquetball, climbing, canoeing/kayaking, hiking, biking, and running. Accomplishments: skydiving, marathons, road bike across country(14 states), athlete of the month within a few months of my crossfit journey.

Jay Gray, CrossFit Level 1, Navy Servicemen
Jay is Studying Animal Biology at the University of Florida. He plans to apply for Medical School upon completion of his degree. He is Crossfit level 1 certified. Jay was in the Navy where he coached Crossfit and has been a regular Crossfitter since 2010.
He has trained in several sports and is an avid climber and mountain biker. He has also coached swim teams and prepared Sailors/Marines/Soldiers in preparation of their upcoming physical fitness tests. At first, Jay was skeptical that Crossfit was going to do anything more for him than the current training regimen did for him, but the efficacy and the diverse Crossfit workouts quickly won him over and allowed him to remain as battle ready as possible. Jay believes CrossFit training can be performed by anyone to achieve a high level of fitness and improve his or her performance in any activity.
